Ginsey Industries to Introduce New Bath Accessories Line
Under License from Pampers® Kandoo™ Brand
Atlanta, GA - May 2, 2006 - Procter & Gamble has entered into a licensing agreement with Ginsey Industries, Inc. to launch a full line of new toilet training and bath learning accessories for children ages two to seven years old under the Pampers® Kandoo™ brand name. These products are intended to complement the Pampers Kandoo line of personal care products, including Kandoo Foaming Handsoap and Wipes, 2-in-1 Shampoo and Foaming Body Wash recently introduced by Pampers in North America.
The Pampers Kandoo bath accessories line developed by Ginsey will feature multiple products for the bathroom all focused on empowering a child to perform everyday personal care tasks. The products provide parents with a one-stop solution for their child's personal care needs. The new line will include a number of products such as potty training seats, step stools, Kandoo Flushable Wipes Holders, laundry hampers, bath mats, and bathing aids which will ship to mass market, grocery and specialty stores in the U.S. and Canada later this year.
The licensed product line will complement Pampers Kandoo flushable wipes and foaming hand soap launched in January 2005, and Kandoo shampoo and body wash launched in January 2006. "Kandoo is all about empowering kids to be able to have fun learning to do tasks themselves," says Lucas Watson, Kandoo Associate Marketing Director. "Our specially-designed wipes, hand soap, shampoo and body wash help kids master basic bathroom skills. Through this licensing agreement with Ginsey, we can provide hard-goods for the bathroom that further enhance the Kandoo experience."
The new Pampers Kandoo licensed products will incorporate kid-friendly features. The Kandoo Flushable Wipes Holder and Kandoo Shampoo and Body Wash Holder are specifically designed to hold Kandoo products making them even more accessible and easier for kids to use independently.
